ST CHARLES, Ill. (Dec. 8, 2011) – Cooper Hong Inc., a marketing communications and public relations firm based in St. Charles, Ill., received the MarCom Platinum Award for its “When Industry Knowledge Matters” marketing materials, and the MarCom Gold Award for a capabilities brochure developed for Hampton, Lenzini and Renwick, Inc. Additionally, CHI earned an Honorable Mention Award for its “Philanthropy Wall” series of tradeshow booth panels for Case Construction Equipment.

Sponsored by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), the international MarCom Awards program recognizes outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals, advertising agencies and PR firms in the areas of concept, writing and design of print, visual, audio and web materials.

“CHI is extremely proud of the high-caliber creative work we do for our clients and for our own promotional efforts,” said Jane Cooper, president, Cooper Hong Inc. “It’s gratifying to receive praise from our peers in marketing and communication. It’s even more gratifying to see the results our work delivers for our clients.”

CHI earned the MarCom Platinum Award for its work creating a series of direct marketing pieces to promote its own agency capabilities. Emphasizing four key marketing messages, “When Industry Knowledge Matters,” “When Sales Need Acceleration,” “When Brand Recognition Counts” and “When Competition is Fierce,” these marketing cards highlight content development, lead generation, branding and sales support, four of the agency’s core competencies.

The agency earned the MarCom Gold Award for design and content development for a new capabilities brochure for HLR, a leading provider of civil and structural engineering and surveying services in Illinois. CHI provided strategic consultation, copywriting, photography and design to deliver a brochure that presents information on the firm’s civil and structural engineering, environmental and surveying services in a clean, inviting format that engages the primary target audience of municipal and civil officials.

CHI also received an Honorable Mention Award for its development of large-scale graphics that documented Case Construction Equipment’s charitable contributions of equipment, manpower and other resources to communities in need around the world. The display created by CHI debuted at the triennial CONEXPO/CON-AGG tradeshow held earlier this year in Las Vegas.

The MarCom Awards receive approximately 5,000 entries per year. Individuals and companies submit work in more than 200 categories in the areas of print marketing, strategic communications and electronic, social and interactive media. Judges are industry professionals who identify work that exceeds a high standard of excellence and serves as a benchmark for the industry.
