HOUSTON (Oct. 3, 2018)Jetstream of Houston, LLP, a leading manufacturer of industrial high-pressure waterblasting equipment, parts and accessories, has introduced the Jetstream® H3Orbiter™ 3-D waterblasting tool for tank and vessel cleaning operations. The tool provides a safer environment for the operator by eliminating the need to gain entry in a confined space.

“For effective ‘no entry’ cleaning of tanks, vessels and confined spaces, the Jetstream H3Orbiter tool gets the job done and delivers unmatched coverage and cleaning ability to remove even the thickest deposits,” said Ronnie Felts, product manager at Jetstream. “The rotation of the nozzles and body allows the tool to perform a complete 360°-clean at pressures up to 22,000 psi (1500 bar). The rotational speed is controlled by a maintenance-free magnetic brake.”

Flow rates on the H3Orbiter are controlled through the four manifold options that provide 10 to 80 gpm (37 to 302 lpm). Optional kits provide the necessary tools and replacement parts for service and repair in the field, reducing downtime and eliminating shipping fees.

Nozzles and nozzle extensions
HHTC nozzles are the preferred nozzles for the H3Orbiter tool. These stainless-steel nozzles feature ¼-inch NPT connections. Available in four length options from 2-24 inches, the nozzle extensions provide a larger, more effective cleaning pattern.

Centralizer
For applications in which internal structures or debris may interfere with cleaning, the H3Orbiter can be fitted with a cage centralizer to protect the tool and extensions without hindering the spray pattern.
