Case Construction Equipment required a new, visually attractive website redesign that would be appreciated globally and diverse enough to appeal cross-culturally, while featuring functionality that would work well within tight technological boundaries spanning the globe.


CHI put forward multiple concepts for graphic-user interface (GUI) that showcased CHI’s skills and competencies in graphic design and incorporated the Case power arc – a graphic element originally designed by CHI that featured heavily in existing Case brochures and other branded materials.  With input from the client, CHI developed a GUI that included multiple landing page templates, and HTML and Flash coding for landing pages and graphics. CHI also created a robust content management system (CMS) so content and graphics could be easily and conveniently changed and managed.

In order to have a GUI that ensured functionality and worked cross-culturally through both technological and graphic standpoints, CHI coordinated with counterparts and IT groups in Latin America, Asia and Europe to ensure the redesign components worked within technological capabilities across the globe. This cross-cultural appeal also included accommodating global users and translations into seven languages. The Flash elements CHI coded included a landing page providing the option to select a language and country in order to ensure this global functionality for the Case website.


The Case website is an eye-catching, fully functional website that works across many platforms and within stringent technology capacities in countries around the world. The website design earned a Marcom Gold Award from the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.
