CHI Website Redesign

Cooper Hong Inc.

Category: Website Development

Challenge

As a public relations, marketing communications and web design firm based in the Chicago market, Cooper Hong recognized the need to enhance its own online presence and increase visibility. To reach potential clients in targeted geographic markets, CHI tapped into its own collective website development, SEO copywriting and web content management expertise to create a fully optimized website that would not only rank higher for key search terms, but also capture leads and increase conversions with a quick and simple call to action and online contact form. With a fully optimized website and integrated social media, CHI sought to rank higher for its key search terms, raise its voice in the web-sphere and become more competitive in the online marketplace.

Solution

With a goal of building a site unique in its appearance, with an organic design that broke from the traditional grid to which many sites restrict themselves, CHI’s website design services team set out to build a fully optimized site complete with search-friendly navigation, keyword-laced content, optimized metadata, clear call-to-action and an online lead generation form.

CHI’s SEO copywriting services team conducted thorough keyword research based on the agency’s core competencies, industry terms and geo-targeted phrases for the Chicago market to identify the keywords being searched for these various services.

The agency’s web content management services team crafted more than 60 new, unique pages of optimized, compelling and well-crafted website content –and more than 100 case studies and more than 40 blog posts – were crafted.

Results

Within two months of the launch of the new website, CHI’s web rankings and online presence improved dramatically, with 28 keywords moving into the top 20 on Google. The CHI site went from invisible to visible in just a few short months. CHI has driven significant traffic to the new website via organic, direct traffic and its social media accounts, negating the old need for a variety of paid listings on directory websites.

The CHI website also earned a 2012 PR Daily Award in the Best Use of SEO category, a 2012 Bronze Quill Award of Excellence in the Interactive Media Design category for the site design and a 2012 Bronze Quill Award of Merit in the Writing category for the search-engine-optimized content.
