Mark Smith

Account Manager

With extensive experience in both agency and corporate management positions, Mark has created and delivered business‐to‐business communications solutions to clients for 35 years. A marketing communications veteran, he sets communications strategy for leading brands and helps clients make more meaningful connections with their customers. Mark creates real value for brands by developing effective campaigns that engage audiences in positive action and drive bottom line results. A professional storyteller for many years, Mark tells brands’ stories with compelling messages and engaging language through the right media to reach their target audiences and stakeholders. Mark delivers expert writing skills across a wide range of media and subjects.

Even as a child, Mark wanted to be a journalist. But after starting a career as a reporter, he found an opportunity in industrial public relations. Mark enjoyed the challenge of telling “the story”—the character, conflict and resolution—found in less-than-obvious settings. This rewarding career has taken him to a variety of industries and markets. Mark still enjoys telling the “five Ws and an H” in ways that meet the needs of clients and their audiences.
